VISION AND STRATEGY

Verdinatingível, Lda is a Portuguese company dedicated to the manufacture of bakery products and biscuits.

High product quality and a continuous commitment to demanding Quality and Food Safety standards are key factors in the success of Verdinatingível, Lda, which aims to strengthen its position in the Portuguese market and expand internationally.

Aware of the challenges of the food sector, Verdinatingível, Lda has adopted the requirements of the IFS Food Quality and Food Safety Management System, based on Codex Alimentarius principles, in all activities related to the manufacture of bakery products and biscuits at its industrial facility in Batalha (Leiria).

MISSION

Verdinatingível, Lda’s mission is to supply safe, high-quality food products in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ensure the satisfaction of customers and other stakeholders, optimise the management of its resources and enter new market sectors, establishing the Panetto brand as a leader in biscuits and “well food” bakery products.

Verdinatingível, Lda is committed to actively managing its quality and food safety systems as tools for the continuous improvement of quality and food safety in its services and food manufacturing.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Verdinatingível, Lda recognises the importance of creating value in the community in which it operates. It therefore promotes and develops initiatives in the local community, including donations of food products to people in need.

OBJECTIVES

The main objectives of adopting Quality and Food Safety requirements at Verdinatingível, Lda are:

  • Comply with hygiene and food safety standards, identify, assess and control food-safety hazards in order to ensure the supply of safe, high-quality food products in accordance with legal and normative requirements (IFS Food);
  • Meet customers’ needs and expectations by ensuring compliance with product requirements, particularly regarding safety, legality, process and specifications;
  • Require high levels of quality and food safety from suppliers and promote the fulfilment of their expectations;
  • Motivate and involve employees, promote continuous training for their duties and support the fulfilment of their needs and expectations;
  • Continuously improve quality, food safety, productivity, services, competitiveness, business sustainability and proactive resolution of potential problems;
  • Promote and communicate the Quality and Food Safety Policy to customers, suppliers and employees so that it is understood, implemented and maintained.
  • Protect and respect the environment by promoting effective management of the waste generated;
  • Ensure effective communication among interested parties such as customers, suppliers, employees, partners and statutory and regulatory authorities.
  • Comply with applicable legal requirements.
